Other Facilities

All normal day to day services are included in the fees. These include full laundry services, communial television, specialised nursing equipment, library facilities, nurse call system, assisted baths etc. In addition, there is a programme of comprehensive recreational therapy. This includes regular outings and shopping trips and also afternoon and evening musical entertainment's.

Our staff like to provide for the spiritual and psychological needs of the residents as well as for their physical well being. For this reason we try to make each residents birthday a special day for them and their family.

A grand summer fete is organised every year at Two Acres for the benefit of the residents, their family's and their friends.

The only extras for which a resident will be required to pay are telephone calls, hairdressing and newspapers all of which are available.

Private telephone lines and personal televisions are available on subsidy. Personal Radios are permitted in the rooms.
