most people use a hair-dryer to heat the glue up..then some polish to remove the residue (I say use autoglym Super rinse polish)

I tried the hair drier and it still didn't take the sticky $hit off :( Maybe I didn't heat it up enough.

Right where was I ? Back from Children in Need.

Here is the is guide.

Video - debadgeing a wrx sti - WRX

To get rid of any residue use Bug & Tar remover or WD40. Then re wax or put back some sort of protection as some of it will have come off with the old glue.

Here is mine naked & then re-badged.
